Everyone knows Swagbucks, right? Of the dozens and dozens of money earning websites online, Swagbucks is probably the most popular of all. There are a few million users on Swagbucks, and Swagbucks has paid out over $300 MILLION to them.

But how can you get a piece of the pie? How much money can YOU make with Swagbucks?

Swagbucks was never meant to be a full-time income source. It’s not like affiliate marketing, or freelancing, or selling on Shopify. It’s not going to replace your job. But Swagbucks IS an amazing source for micro-earning. I make hundreds of dollars with Swagbucks every few months, and it’s a nice little boost for my bank account!

The thing with Swagbucks is that if you don’t know to work the system, you’re probably going to miss out on the best money making potential. This is how to REALLY make money from Swagbucks.

1. THE DEALS ARE EVERYTHING!

The #1 source of money from Swagbucks is through the offers and deals. It’s crazy to me how many Swagbucks users totally overlook the offers section of the site. I make the most money by far, just by using these offer opportunities.

Here are just a few of the offers that paid me through Swagbucks. Buckle your seat belts, because some of these deals are wild!

– Swagbucks paid me $40 to try a $5.99 month of Hulu. THINK about that for a second. Try a $5.99 month of Hulu, get $40 in your Swagbucks account to be sent straight to your PayPal in CASH. This is essentially like getting paid $34 just for having Hulu for a month for free.

– Try $15 of Gillette razers? Here’s another $40 from Swagbucks. Or better yet, check out this screenshot of a current offer on Swagbucks (as of 2/20/2019). Get a $12 package from Dollar Shave Club, which includes a 3 pack of razors, a holder, a toothbrush, face wash, and toothpaste, and get paid $25!

– Swagbucks will often pay $5 or even more just for trying free trials of things. Gwynnie Bee is a month’s subscription of free clothes to try out, delivered to your door. Gobble is a delivery of meals sent to your door. There are tons of opportunities to download free apps. All of these opportunities pay!

The amount that Swagbucks will pay on each deal varies from month to month, so keep an eye out for the new deals that are always popping up. This is how to make some really fast and easy cash! With the offers alone you can make hundreds of dollars.

2. COMPOUND YOUR EARNINGS

Want to know the simplest way to multiply your earnings with no effort? I’ll share a little hack with you. Open multiple accounts with Swagbucks, instead of just one, and get the deals multiple times. As long as you have a few different emails, you can open multiple accounts. If you have multiple debt/credit cards, than you sign up for the offers again, and again!

Swagbucks has a referral program, so when someone signs up for Swagbucks through your recommendation you get $3, and a 10% bonus on everything they earn for life. That means that if you refer yourself to Swagbucks 3 times, not only will you get paid for the offers 3 times, your first account will also make an extra 20% off of the other 2!

So how much money can you make with Swagbucks?

The answer is limitless. You can make as much money as you can add offers. If you’re someone who has 12 emails (like me), you can simply open 12 Swagbucks accounts, with 12 emails.

Just sign up for a free month of Hulu 12 TIMES, and get paid $40 for every single time (or whatever the current payout is for Hulu – it’s usually $20, sometimes $10, sometimes $30, sometimes $40 depending on the current deal). That’s $480 just for trying Hulu.

3. MAKE THE LITTLE THINGS A HABIT

It’s no secret that Swagbucks has dozens of different ways for you to make money.

The majority of the things you see on the Swagbucks homepage will pay you in some way. Even though most of them only pay pocket change, by making a habit doing just a few of the daily Swagbucks activities you can make quick money easily.

This includes a 1 question daily poll, searching the internet on Swagbuck’s search bar, and printing coupons through Swagbucks (including an extra $0.25 for every coupon that you redeem).

They also have an option for you to watch their TV, which is mostly advertising and new blurbs, for pay. The longer you watch their videos, the more you get paid. Instead of actually watching the videos, which might actually kill your brain cells, you can hit play, mute the videos, and let them run on your laptop, phone, or tablet. You can even minimize the screen, and continue doing work, while making a little passive money.

These things pay tiny amounts. Doing these little activities on Swagbucks is like collecting dimes and quarters in a jar. Even though each little piece that goes into the jar seems tiny, when you finally crack it open a couple months down the road you’ve got a nice piece of extra change.

Believe it or not, those little boosts can go a long way! And because the Swagbucks activities are so easy, and almost passive, I consider it worth it.

START MAKING SOME CASH!

Now you know how easy it is to make money with Swagbucks! Using simple websites like Swagbucks, I make an extra $3,000 in spare change every year. Side hustles like this helped me pay off $42,000 in debt in less than 2 years, and to pay for a trip to Europe.

If you haven’t joined Swagbucks yet, you’ve got cash waiting for you right now! Even if you only use it for a day, milk it for every free cash offer it has, and drop it like a hot potato, your PayPal account (or bank) will thank.

Give it a shot!

  1. This is a great and simple to follow guide on how to make good income with swagbucks. You laid it all out clearly and showed series of examples that helped emphasize your various points. This guide will be very useful for me because I have been looking for how to make money on survey sites and you have provided the answer to my challenges. Thanks for the eye opener

    1. Hey, I’m glad you found it helpful! There are a lot of great options out there.

I’m careful with what survey sites I try because many of them will waste your time. But some of my favorites are Pinecone Research, Survey Junkie, and PaidViewpoint. You can read more about them at THIS LINK –

  2. Swagbucks is really one of those popular making money websites. I have heard a lot about them and think it would really be a good way to make some side income. The only issue I have with them is the fact that they only make payments using paypal. It would have been really nice if they had other ways they used in making their payments.

    1. Hey Jay! You can actually get your money in a lot of different ways from Swagbucks. PayPal is one way, but you can redeem your points for tons of gift cards, or even a VISA card which is roughly the equivalent of having cash because you spend it on anything.

They may have the option to get your payments through checks, the way you can from Ebates, but I’m not totally sure of that. Are you able to get a PayPal account? It’s free and easy to use, as long as you’re not using a business account.

  3. Hello there!

This is a highly informative article regarding Swagbucks. I used to use this little money making system until a virus (malwhare) piggy backed on my Swabucks bar download and I was forced to stop using it. Has this ever happened to you?

I really like your website. It is gorgeous and easy to navigate and read.

    Keep up the great work!

    1. Thanks so much!

I’m sorry to hear this happened to you, I haven’t had that issue with Swagbucks. You were trying to put the Swagbutton on your browser bar to get cash back on deals? Did you find out where the virus came from?

Swagbucks is fully safe in my experience, just like Ebates. But it’s always good to be cautious on the internet, there’s no end to the scams out there.

  4. I am not really one for the survey but seeing what you are saying here about swag bucks I really making me want to jump on it already. You laid out everything in a very simple manner and giving examples and I feel like its just going to be really easy for me to get started. Well, I think I’d also want to clear some debtt too. Thanks a lot for the timely info.

    1. Hello!

I’m glad you found it helpful. Yes, Swagbucks will definitely never replace a full time business, job, or other cash flow, but it’s an easy way to make a few hundred bucks in under an hour. If you browse through the offer, and then do a bit of the math, you’ll find that you can make several hundred dollars profit off of the available offers in under an hour.

Easy and fast money is usually not sustainable online, but it’s a great way to boost your cash while pursuing your goals (like paying off debt).

  5. I like this. It is simple and you have explained it well how to earn a little extra cash while milking a system that is a little flawed. I hadn’t heard of Swagbucks before and I am going to look it up now. So what is the exchange rate for 1 Swag Buck? Is 1 Swag buck $1?

Do the surveys put you onto any mailing lists? That would really suck and I’d be reluctant to do it if this is the case.

    1. Hello Peter!

The exchange range is that every Swagbuck is the equivalent of $0.01. Just one penny. So every 100 Swagbucks equals $1. This sounds like a really low rate, but once you keep in mind what every offer is worth in USD you can see how much value there is. For example, I was paid 40,000 Swagbucks for completing the Hulu offer. It was $40. I’m not sure why they can’t just explain it with dollar amounts, instead of points, since every point has actual monetary value, but…. I’ve adapted.

As far as the mailing list, they will ask for your email when you sign up like most other websites. But if you don’t want their emails, you can just open the first one that they send you, and hit the Unsubscribe button so they you’ll never get their emails again

    1. Hey there! Thanks for dropping by!

Yes, Swagbucks has been one of the easiest to use websites I’ve found for making extra cash online. I think that a lot of people get overwhelmed by the volume of stuff on Swagbucks, or they don’t find the most lucrative offers right away and just give up on it. It’s definitely worth sticking with! I’ve made hundreds with Swagbucks since I joined with almost no effort whatsoever.
